Freaky October Snow Storm.......

Here they are the last roses of the year. So beautiful....so perfect...but yet its supposed to snow. WHAT.....the leaves haven't even fallen yet. How can this be???????

This is what it looked like a few days ago......Crazy, Freaky snow storm in October.....and then
We lost power for 12 hours. Temp. went down to 30 degrees. and so I lit the candles, cooked some dinner and then sat down to a glass of Pinot and read my Kindle. It was cozy for a while until my toes started to go numb. My daughter, Angel and my husband Joe were sleeping in the living room under some furry blankets. The house was soooooo quiet. It really made me think of how blessed we are. Thank you Lord, for Thomas Edison, the invention of electricity, indoor heat, plumbing and all the rest of the modern conveniences we take for granted everyday. It was really cozy for a little while...here is my candlelit photo.......
