Crop for Autism!...

On Saturday, March 13, as Staten Island was under siege of heavy rains and hurricane like winds, while trees were falling and wires were snappin, 250 of us crazy scrappers were at St.Joseph By The Sea High School, at the Crop for Autism. Seriously it could have been 75 degrees and sunny, we would have never known the difference because

WE ARE CRAZY ABOUT PAPER AND GLUE AND PHOTOS!!!! So as the storm progressed and basements got flooded, we were deliriously scrapping away. On a serious note, I must give honor where honor is due. Barbara D"Amora and her very loyal committee put together for the fourth year in a row the best crop ever to raise money for the Grace Foundation, which funds support, research and development for Autism. Barbara, whose son Nicholas is autistic, is the inspiration for his Mom's faithful drive to helping other parents, and finding a cure for this disease. This years crop was over the top in attendance, food, vendors and I am praying funds raised. Thank you Barbara for all you do and thanks to all the volunteers (students from SJBS) who were excellent, your fabulous committee and the great maintenance man who was soooo helpful the entire day.
